travel is something that everyone should experience at least once in their life. going off to somewhere that you’re not used to is the most amazing, eye-opening experience. i crave culture shock. leaving town can be anywhere from being completely organized a year in advance or just take place spur of the moment.

my inspiration for this shoot was the idea of leaving town just to get away fast when things get hectic. travel disconnects you from reality and life at home which can be wonderful. my goal was to make it look like this girl had just up and left a bad party, put on a jacket, and grabbed her bags to leave. she put her life on pause. she needed a release.
