LATE INTRO – WHO AM I? : VIDEO
Hey everyone! For those of you who don’t know me / have never met me before, here I am, on video! Sitting down and talking to the camera is a very difficult thing for me to do. (I’ll keep practicing and hopefully get better!) As a tween, I had a YouTube channel and my classmates found out and I was so embarrassed that I took it down. Now that I am more mature and don’t care what people think, I am trying this whole thing all over again.
My goal as of now is not to become instantly famous, but is to get my name out there with a presence on YouTube. I will continue to post on my blog, bellalightner.com, must expand my content onto this platform as well. I plan on creating lookbooks, vlogs, fun fashion related videos, and just really sitting down and talking type videos. I am really excited to work on some things in this kind of different format and I am hoping for the best with this!
Vinyl Vibes : Como Collabs Meetup 1
This is a follow up post from yesterday with the rest of the photos from the Columbia Collaboratives’ first meet up. I wanted to keep these photos separate from the others because they have such a different aesthetic. Rachel Leigh took these shots at Hitt Records in Columbia, MO. This record store is one of my favorites to shop at and made a great, moody place to shoot.
Be sure to follow the official Instagram account for Como Collabs and if you live in Columbia come to a meet up or use the hashtag #comocollabs to be featured.

VLOG 3 : EUROPE – IRELAND, ITALY – WINTER 2017/18
Hello and thank you for clicking on this video! I recently got back from a trip to Europe with my family. We went to Dublin, Ireland, Milan, Florence, and Rome, Italy. I decided to keep music out of this video because I loved the sounds of the videos too much. I wanted to give a realistic vibe on what I heard when I was there. From church music to honking cars to my family yelling at each other. I had the most amazing time touring around these places and I am so thankful for my family for taking me here on my Christmas vacation from college.

VLOG 2 : KANSAS CITY FASHION WEEK CRUISE 2017 – MIAMI, KEY WEST, COZUMEL
HELLO! Thanks so much for tuning in to my second ever vlog. I am obviously still getting the hang of being comfortable talking to the camera in public which is why I’m so awkward at times but I’ll get better. I am so blessed to have been invited on the first official Kansas City Fashion Week Cruise trip. We had an amazing team and I had so much fun. I am hoping that KCFW does something like this again soon!

VLOG 1 : SUMMER 2017 ROAD TRIP – NEW ORLEANS, PANAMA CITY BEACH, ST. AUGUSTINE, SAVANNAH
Hi! Thanks so much for watching my video. I have never done anything like this before in fear of what people would think or if people would even watch. I realized how much I love looking back on good memories and thought this would be a fun way to do so. I am so awkward in this video because I’m not used to this but, I had fun with it and plan to make more and hopefully get more comfortable talking to the camera in public places.

Lee Jeans X Boulevardia 2017
This past weekend I was invited to Boulevardia in Kansas City by Lee Jeans! If you don’t know, Boulevardia is a festival that celebrates music, food, and Boulevard Beer; hence the name. This isn’t a normal blog post for me but I wanted to share some images from this day with Lee!
Since I was attending this event with Lee Jeans, I felt like I should represent them by wearing a pair of their awesome denim! Although it was ridiculously hot, these jeans put my festival look together! I am wearing the Eu Lee – Scarlett High Rise Skinny Jeans in the color Charcoal Powder. I am almost six feet tall (surprise for those who have not met me in person) so I got the length in a 35 and they are PERFECT! – finally, jeans that are long enough!
Accessorizing this outfit was my favorite part! Since my outfit was all black I wanted an intense contrast by pairing lighter colored shoes and a white bandana around my neck!

Lee Jeans was one of the festival’s sponsors and they were celebrating 100 years in Kansas City! I got to hang out in their tent all day with, Lee team member, Janelle McCoy, and my guest, and close fashion friend, Brooke Robertson. Lee had some fun games inside the tent along with a station where you could get custom designs on your denim to benefit Rightfully Sewn!
It was an amazing Saturday spent in the Stockyards District in Kansas City with Lee Jeans. We got to enjoy some great live music on the main stage and even in the parking garage due to the storm; something I will not forget. I am so thankful to have had this opportunity and can’t wait to collaborate with Lee Jeans in the near future!
