This has been one of my favorite looks of 2019 so far! I found this super cute vintage tiger print sweater and paired it with my lion medallion heels. I love layering tights under everything so it ties the whole look together while staying warm in the KC snow.
Recently, there have been a lot of fun trends out there and one of my favorite, and also most easy to accomplish, is wearing a long sleeve shirt under a short sleeve one. This is how I dressed when I was in middle school and I always looked back and cringed but, I think if styled in the right way, it’s a fun way to dress up a boring tee.
I got to spend New Years Eve in Denver, Colorado and wanted to share some of my photos from the trip below. It was absolutely freezing and I did forget to shoot some of my looks but one of my 2019 goals is to live more in the moment and spend less time on my phone.
This post officially has me caught up with all of my delayed and scheduled blog posts which to me, is super exciting. One of my blog goals for 2019 is to stay active and caught up on this platform as well as my others and not get behind. Stay tuned for tons and tons of content to come soon!

I’ve been looking forward to going to the Dior From Paris to the World Exhibition ever since I heard about it. It started in Paris and then moved to the Denver Art Museum. I saw the most gorgeous dresses from the beginning of Christian Dior to the present, including looks worn by Elizabeth Taylor and Grace of Monaco and of course the iconic Jennifer Lawrence awards show gown. This exhibit goes on until March and it is worth every penny.
Hello hello! I have been meaning to post this for a while now I’ve just been so busy keeping up with classes and enjoying Europe I didn’t want to get too caught up on the internet!
My second official week in Florence, Italy meant starting school! I am attending Accademia Italiana and studying fashion communications. My classes are absolutely amazing and all of my professors are industry professionals. I am taking window display and design, fashion photography, history of 20th century fashion, art history, and of course, Italian! The campus is gorgeous and I love going to school with not just study abroad students, but people from all around the world.
The green car in the background is from the shooting of Michael Bay’s new movie 6 Underground with Ryan Reynolds and Dave Franco. They’re shooting here in Florence and it has been so cool to watch them film the car chase scenes in real life!

I don’t have classes on Friday which is so so nice! My school does this because there are so many study abroad students who want to use the weekends to travel. I spent my Friday exploring the city! I really just tooled around by myself to get familiar with how the city works. I also briefly popped in to the Gucci Gardens and had a great solo lunch!
These are the two bags I purchased at the leather market! They are genuine and beautiful and the best part, were very inexpensive!
A lot of the pieces that are sold in this market are similar to high end designer goods.
It’s hard being a college student with minimal funds for designer items but buying similar things for a lot cheaper is definitely hopeful and exciting.
Red has recently been my absolute favorite color ever. I have been incorporating a lot of this color into my outfits and hope it never goes out of style.
This jacket is one of the coolest pieces I own. I purchased it at a vintage / antique store in the Deep Ellum district of Dallas, Texas. Vintage pieces add some kind of unique flare to everything and I try really hard to include many vintage or thrifted things into my personal style.
