My Favorite Dress

Ciao!

I have officially made it to Florence, Italy and have had a wonderful first few days here. I wasn’t originally going to post these photos to the blog but I am so in love with this dress, I just absolutely had to.

This For Love and Lemons Dress is my most favorite piece I own and I made the decision of not bringing it to Italy with me. I only wanted to pack practical clothing that I could mix and match with lots of outfits while still leaving room for some new things.

Of course, before I parted ways with this dress, I had a mini backyard photoshoot in it!

Ciao for now

Festival Fashion Series 2017 – 3/3

Here is the final look of my festival fashion series! These feather hem vintage Levi’s were the jeans that inspired this series. I found these at my favorite buy, sell, trade store, Arizona Trading Company- where I find all of my unique pieces. I paired them with this white lace crop top that I bought literally five years ago from Topshop. It’s one of my favorite tops and I knew they were the perfect match for the jeans.

I hope you all enjoyed this festival fashion series, I had so much fun putting these outfits together. I’m just sad that I’m not going to any festivals anytime soon!

In case you miss them…. Part 1 and Part 2.

Derby Darling

As the 143rd Kentucky Derby is quickly approaching, I thought it would be fun to do a Derby inspired look. Going to this has been on my bucket list forever and will continue to stay there until I get to go…someday.

This pastel blue dress is the perfect dress for the occasion. It is a beautiful color for spring and I love the mix of ruffles and lace. PLUS- it is on sale for under $30 here!!! I paired it with simple white strappy heels and OF COURSE, a big, beautiful hat! I wanted the hat to match the shoes and this white one was perfect. I am honestly not a fan of hats but it was a Derby necessity so I had to. At the end, I actually loved how the hat looked!

Also- I got to shoot with a new photographer, Emily Steele! This woman is so talented and hilarious she was making me laugh during our entire shoot. Stay tuned for more looks that we shot coming soon. Check out her Facebook page, here, and her website, here.
