Happy Tuesday! I made a goal this year to branch out of my “set” style and try out new things. I tend to dress pretty edgy using mainly neutral colors but I don’t want to stay in that aesthetic because there is only so much one can do within it.
For this look I paired a bright, mint green blazer that I thrifted with a faux leather pleated skirt and white pussybow blouse. My original idea was not to be preppy and gossip girl-esque but the outcome looks kind of like I stepped straight off the show. Not only do I get those vibes, but I also felt like I could be strutting down a street in Paris.
Remember that you don’t have to stick to one style to define yourself. It is so much more fun to try out other aesthetics and to add your own little twist.

This was such a fun and easy look to put together. I love the chic, European feel of the tweed and fur jacket mixed with the edgy rocker leggings and heeled booties; it’s almost Parisian inspired. I think it makes for something different and unique. Of course I am wearing my favorite black newsboy hat to tie everything together.
These shots are from the second Columbia Collaboratives meet up shot by Anna Tripolitis. Be sure to follow Anna on Instagram and like on Facebook. I also have part two from the meet up coming soon. I shot two outfits and wanted to keep them separated.

My family is super into road trips and we take a long one pretty much every Summer. I am pretty active on Instagram during these vacations but have never blogged (or vlogged) about them so this is a first! We’re stopping in a few different cities this week and each city will have its own blog post including my outfits and some other photos!
ALSO – in one of my recent blog posts, I mentioned how I wanted to better one of my social media channels and I am happy to say that I am officially bringing back my Youtube channel starting with a vlog from this trip once it’s all over! I have never vlogged before so it may be a little rough but I am going to try to get used to it and do it more regularly, showing a more accurate representation of my life. I also plan on creating some fashion videos and films as well so stay tuned. I am so excited to see everything come together!
