Pink Going Out Dress
Hello hello!
I shot this look almost two months ago and these photos have just been sitting in my drafts and I totally forgot about them!
I wore this pink jacquard dress once to a formal and felt the need to style it for more of a casual, going out look. Pairing almost any “one time” event dress with a leather jacket and boots or booties makes for a whole new outfit! I added a hat to give it a touch of personal style and my everyday rings and accessories give it the perfect edge.

KRITIQ Fashion Show 2017
I am so thankful to have been invited to the 2017 Kritiq Fashion Show as a blogger! This show was held at the College Basketball Experience part of the Sprint Center in Kansas City. It was such a cool atmosphere full of amazing people from Kansas City. This show was so inspiring to see just some of the talented creatives that Kansas City has to offer. From athletic streetwear to couture gowns there was a variety of it all.
I was invited to the Kritiq by designer, Roger Figeroua so my main focus on this post will be the collection that he presented. I have known Roger for a while and he never fails to amaze me. He is original, creative, and has so much talent. Roger brought a mix of ready to wear apparel and couture gowns to the show, while keeping a consistent color pallets of blacks, whites, and blues. I love everything he designs and can’t wait to see where life takes him. Thanks again Roger for inviting me, much love! Xx
Be sure to like Roger’s Facebook page here and follow him on Instagram here. Feel free to go back on my blog here to see what Roger brought to Kansas City Fashion Week’s F/W’17 season.
All of the other designers and brands that showed at Kritiq were great! The entire show was such a fun experience. I could tell that the models were having a blast as well as the emcee and guests. Below are some photos of my favorite looks!

#KCFW S/S’18 Saturday Night Runway Show
Hello hello! Again, this post is super delayed but I now am free (finally) to share it! This final night of fashion week was my favorite. I got the opportunity to style 12 looks to hit the runway on side of Randall Schneck. We pulled clothing from Dillard’s at the Oak Park Mall, one of Kansas City Fashion Week’s main sponsors, to create 12 Fall looks. I have never gotten to do anything like this before so this was a new experience for me and I loved every second of it. Watching those outfits go down the runway was such an incredible feeling.

Each season of Kansas City Fashion Week gets better and better. I know everyone says this but it is really true. I have grown up within the KCFW community and I feel as if they’re a second family to me. Looking back throughout the past 11 seasons, I have seen myself not only grow as a model and blogger, but as a person. This season was my favorite as I got to expand my horizons by trying new things.

MY OUTFIT :
The amount of times I’ve worn this dress is kind of crazy but I just love it so much- it HAD to make an appearance at Fashion Week. I wore this a lot in the summer but I thought it would be different to make it more Fall-ish by pairing it with a black hat and OTK boots!

Unfortunately I did not have my professional camera for this night of Fashion Week and my phone took such low quality photos they’re not even worth sharing on here. Be sure to check out my other posts from this seasons fashion week, Tuesday night here and Thursday Night here.
Flyover Fashion Fest 2017 – Day 1
Hello from Iowa City, Iowa!!! This is my first time here and I absolutely love the atmosphere. I am in Iowa City this weekend attending Flyover Fashion Fest! Flyover Fashion Fest is a two-day event involving tons of fashion talent, public speakers, activists, musicians and so much more.
Last night there was an outdoor fashion show featuring two designers; Hannah Eckley and Nicole Leth of Sex + Ice Cream.
Make it all the way through this post to see my Flyover Fashion Fest outfit!
Hannah Eckley, from Iowa BIG, opened the show. Her goal is to make women of all shapes and sizes look beautiful and feel confident. I loved her color palette and patterns and it was obvious that the models were having a blast!
I have been obsessed with Nicole Leth of Sex + Ice Cream for such a long time, when I found out she would be showing at Flyover I got so excited! Nicole is all about girl power and being confident. Everything she creates is bright and fun, just like her. She is such a sweetheart and talented individual who genuinely cares about others. I can’t wait to see what is in store for her! I featured one of her pieces in an older blog post, here.
I had such a blast last night I can’t wait for the busy day ahead of me today! Stay tuned for a recap to be posted tomorrow!
AND!! Get excited for a Flyover Fashion Fest street style post coming soon! People have seriously good and unique style here.
MY OUTFIT
I wanted to keep this look pretty sleek and simple (okay, not going to lie, the drive was long and I was way too tired to put a super cute outfit together). I’ve had this denim top for a long time but I never wear it so I decided to throw it on! Since the top and skirt are both pretty structured, this outfit looks more professional.

Banker Stripe
Hey!
I have always been pretty iffy about spending money on current trends but I really do love this blue and white stripe trend. I bought this blouse at Marshalls one day so it was decently inexpensive but still trendy and up-to-date. I paired this top with some of my favorite black distressed jeans and signature black booties (I’ll have to retire these soon sadly but it is getting so warm).

Jacket Envy
OKAY. This jacket is literally my favorite thing ever. It’s by Natalia Meyer of Lucia’s Sarto on the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City. I think that it is so unique with the mix of fabrics and the uneven hem. I kept the outfit simple to keep the focus on the jacket and I love to show that you can mix inexpensive pieces with designer ones.
Also I LOVE how these photos turned out. It was lightly raining during this shoot and it added the perfect amount of gloomy creepiness.

Off the Grid
Hello and happy Monday!
I decided to put up another shorter post like my last one because of the CRAZY amount of content I had up during Kansas City Fashion Week recently. My blog, I felt like, needed a breather!
I am slowly transitioning into Spring with this outfit by pairing a light flowy top and sandals with jeans. This top is from Munelle de Vie who I represented at KCFW at the Thursday night runway show, here. I think that mixing and matching clothing items from two different seasons is the best way to transition!
