This is the second part of my festival fashion series and probably my favorite look out of the three. I bought this white flowy midi dress at Free People on clearance this past Winter and have been impatiently waiting for the weather to warm up to shoot it for Summer! It is so unique in every way; from the uneven hem, the side crochet cut outs, and the seashells on the end of the drawstrings. This dress is definitely one of my favorite pieces.
Since this dress is so airy and feminine, of course I had to contradict that by pairing it with some heavy, chunky platform sandals and a studded hat. I don’t think it is too much of a contrast to look bad but, just enough to look good. As much as I love these Jeffrey Campbell shoes, I feel like I don’t feature them as much as I should. They are so unique with the gold lion medallion that I couldn’t find a similar alternative 😦 (Okay affordable alternative…Versace is the designer to rely on for lion head medallions).
Stay tuned for the third look of this series coming soon!
