Only 25 years later and the fashion trends of the 1990s are appearing more than usual today! Everything from hair scrunchies to tattoo choker necklaces and metallic fabrics to pleated circle skirts. Iggy Azalea took the 90s challenge to the extreme in her “Fancy” music video by recreating herself as the iconic character Cher Horowitz from the 1995 movie Clueless.

Below, I styled an outfit on the grungy end of the spectrum with a tattoo choker and checker patterned black jacket but kept it a bit on the safe side with the white fit and flare scuba dress. It shows femininity with slight edge.
